Hamza on the phone with Thaci after the date of the indictment: Conversation ended in hope that soon we will meet in Kosovo

The president of the Democratic Party of Kosovo announced that today he has spoken on the phone with former president of the country, Hashim Thaci, a day after the Special Court's Judicial Chamber in The Hague decided to postpone once again the plea of the court case against four former Kosovo Liberation Army leaders, eventually setting September 16th as the date to clarify the verdict.
Bedri Hamza said the day before he spoke to former Prime Minister Kadri Wessel.
“I just finished a phone conversation with President Thaci. Even with the president, as with President Wessel a few days ago, we talked about Kosovo, our families, our friends and, above all, about citizens who never stopped believing in their return. We also talked about the long wait for justice, a waiting hour burdened by the constant postponement of the judgment proclamation. However, one thing remains clear: justice can be delayed, but should not be changed”, he wrote in a Facebook post.
Hamza said Thaci even cried out to “belief that on September 16th justice would be put in place”.
The president conveyed the greetings, expectations and support of Kosovo citizens to the president, as well as the belief that on 16 September justice will be put in place and they will return home free. He also asked me to convey his warmest greetings to you all. With the calm and confidence that characterizes him, we concluded in the hope that soon we will see each other in Kosovo”, he wrote.
The sun will be born again! For deliverers, for our glorious history and for Kosovo! “, Hamza added. /Periscope/
