(6 days ago)A Kosovo citizen has been extradited from Germany to Kosovo, following his arrest by German authorities on the basis of an international order issued by Kosovo's justice institutions.
According to the Kosovo Police, the Directorate for International Police Co-operation, in co-operation with the relevant units and justice institutions, has realised the extradition of the suspect with the R.M. initials in 11.06.2026.
The same was required through INTERPOL for criminal acts “attempted murder” and “Grabije”, while allegedly avoiding justice for a period of time.
After the extradition, he has surrendered to the relevant Kosovo Police Unit in the South Mitrovica region, where further legal procedures will continue.
Kosovo police emphasise that international co-operation remains key in the fight against organised crime and the capture of internationally wanted persons.
