Trump gives the U.S. government orders to prepare publication of files on aliens and UFOs

Trump made the statement in a post in the Social Truth, after accusing Barack Obama earlier in the day of revealing classified information when the former president said the “aleens are real.” in a podcast last week, the BBC writes.

“He's not supposed to do this”, Trump told reporters aboard Air Force One, adding: “He made a big mistake. ”

Asked if he even thinks aliens are real, Trump answered: “well, I don't know if they're real or not”

Former US President Obama told postist President Brian Tyler Cohen that he thinks aliens are real in an interview published last Saturday.

“They are real, but I haven't seen them and they're not kept in area 51”, Obama said.

After the comment made headlines in the media, Obama sought to clarify that he thinks it is statistically possible that life would exist beyond the earth, given the vastness of the universe.

Obama's initial comments were made during a quick round of questions in the podkas.

There was no indication that Obama relied on classified information when he gave the interview. The BBC has contacted Obama for comment. The Democrat and Trump, a republic, are long-standing political entagonists.

For his part, Trump said on Thursday in Air Force One that while many people believe in the existence of aliens, he never talks about it and “doesn't have a thought about it”.

Then, a few hours later, he posted to Social Truth that “based on the extraordinary interest shown” will seek to publish the files “related to alien and alien life, unidentified air phenomena (UAP) and unidentified flying objects (UFO), as well as any other information related to these very complex but extremely interesting and important<5>.

US has seen renewed public interest in UFOs and alien life in recent years, prompted in 2017 by reports of a Pentagon secret program investigating the evidence of pilots and other members of the American Army who had reported having seen strange objects in heaven.
