The incident occurred on July 23rd, when a group of about 40 teenagers left a plane at Valencia Airport.

Last Friday, Oscar Puente posted and then erased from X a scripture criticising conservative Spanish politicians for allegedly failing to support the airline and instead “supporting Israeli children”.

The post soon provoked outrage by the French government, which also denounced the behaviour of Spanish law enforcement officers to one of the group's adult associates, writes euronews.

Bringing the message is a good start, but reporting for it would be even better.

“The French government strongly condemns comments made by the Spanish Transport Minister by equated French Jewish children with Israeli citizens, as if it had somehow justified treatment against which they were exposed”, said Benjamin Haddad, Minister for European Affairs and Aurora Berge, minister for the fight against discrimination.

The airline Vueling justified its decision by citing the conduct allegedly compromising flight safety.

In a statement posted on X, the airline said teenagers had manipulated oxygen masks and life vests, despite warnings of not doing so by the crew.

The situation eventually led to involvement in the implementation of Spanish law.

However, summer camp organiser said young people were participating in the competition, claiming the group left “without due cause”.

An official complaint against the airline is expected against “physical and psychological violence and discrimination based on religion”. /Periscope
