Police have said that in the implementation of the “traffic security” plan, there has been a particular focus on motorcycles and break-up of order and public calm.

“Under this plan, from 09.07.2025 to 27.07.2025 were seized 73 motorcycles, due to lack of necessary documentation, expiration of registration deadlines and without relevant categories. Also, 358 fines have been imposed on motorcycle leaders. The Capital Police Directorate appeals to all participants in communications, and especially to motorcycle drivers, to respect communications rules”, police have announced.

Police, meanwhile, have indicated that between July 21st and July 27th, 32 fines for violations of the order and calm have been imposed. 11 have been pronounced against legal persons and 21 to physical persons. The devices with which the noise was caused have also been seized.

“Police units within operational plan “PRQP”, along with municipal inspectors from 21,07.2025 to 27.07.2025, have imposed 32 fines for rule and peace violations. Of these fines 11 have been pronounced against legal persons and 21 have been pronounced against physical persons. In some cases, despite remarks given to them, certain subjects have recured the same action, so they have been seized with devices that have caused noise and used in opposition to the law. Also, during this period some locals have been found working after schedule under regulations from the municipality, so measures are taken under the laws in power”, police have announced. /Periscope/
