“Since the fourth century before our Common Era, the Himara Fortress is proud of the Albanian revival. These walls contain many stories and have remained unbroken for over two thousand years. Built by ancient canyons, it was a powerful fortress. Over the centuries, he has seen Roman, Byzantine, Ottoman conquests but has always remained haughty. The narrow roads and churches convey the history of thousands of years.
