Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani has declared that reforms and investment in the field of defence and security position Kosovo among partner countries sharing the same values.
She has written on Sunday Facebook that she did these statements on the Kosovo Euro-Atlantic integration panel at the NATO Parliamentary Assembly session in the United States.
According to Osmani, with the US and other allies, Kosovo is strengthening the foundations of a safer region.
At the end of activities at NATO's Parliamentary Assembly session in the US, today I had the honour of being speaker on the Kosovo Euro-Atlantic integration panel and peace and security in the Western Balkans. Our reforms and investment in the field of defence and security are positioning Kosovo as partner among countries sharing the same values of freedom and security. With the support of our strategic ally, the United States of America, as well as other allies, we are strengthening the foundations of a safer, more stable and devoted region to democratic values”, she has said.
A day earlier, at a meeting with the US delegation at the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, Osmani has indicated he is grateful for the continued support of the United States for Kosovo. /Periscope/
