So a confidential report from the UN nuclear overseer said on Saturday. In a separate report, the agency called on Tehran to urgently change the course and meet its several-year investigation.

The report comes at a significant time, as US President Donald Trump's administration seeks to reach an agreement with Tehran to limit its nuclear programme. Both sides have held several rounds of talks so far without agreement, reports Associated Press, Transmitt Periscope.

The Vienna International Atomic Energy Agency report, which was seen by The Associated Press, says that from May 17th, Iran has accumulated 408.6kg (900.8 pounds) of uranium enriched by 60%.

This is an increase of 133.8 pounds (294.9 pounds) or almost 50% since the latest IAEA report in February. The rich material 60% is a short technical step away from weapons levels of 90%. A February report set this level of reserves at 274.8 kg. /Periscope/
