Gerjaliu says that the price of electricity may rise again at the end of the year: There's a lack of transparency

Economics expert Safet Gerjaliu has declared that the price of electricity could rise again at the end of this year.

According to Gerjaliu, rising electricity prices are not in our hands.

“We have production capacities produced in the 1960/70s, and for 25 years we haven't been able to increase production capacities, the price has increased, but I fear that the price will rise again at the end of the year, because the fate of the supply of electricity is not in our hands, but it's in the hands of others”, Gerjaliu said in Klan.

Until he adds that the silence of the ruling party is disturbing, in terms of increasing the price of electricity in Kosovo.

There's a lack of transparency, there's a lack of honesty, this silence proves a lot. The very fact that the exact value of expensiveness is not known is the first reason, and the strong and political connection with operators for electricity supply is the second fact”, the economist said further. /Periscope/
