Eston Manjuka VVA accuses media of Reporters Without Borders' report

Ruling party spokesman Arlind Manjuka, who is on a daily basis dealing with journalists and media in Kosovo, has reacted to Reporters Without Borders' report, which shows Kosovo's drastic decline in the media freedom index, even getting worse than Serbia. Instead of reflecting [...]

Instead of reflecting on the damage caused by the party's own four years, and Kurti Government, Manjuka has decided to contest the credibility of the report of one of the most professional organisations such as “Reporters without Borders”.

According to him, people who are reacting to the amazing “ ” in the report, “are the ones who gave answers before the report was compiled “and that “wanting to hit the government through reports, are even more unseriosis”. /Periscope/

Full response:

To say that there is no freedom of expression in Kosovo is totally false.

In Kosovo, not that there is freedom of expression, but there is absolute freedom of expression. Even to absolute impunity of slander.

But how? Simple.

These who are now reacting to the strange “” with the report are the ones who have provided the answers before this report is compiled. So, the report speaks of Kosovo as having talked to these Kosovo people. Wanting to hit Government through reports, they're actually getting out of nowhere.

Freedom, thought, freedom of thought, expression, never stopped or could stop. But lying costs, if not through standards, at a loss of credibility. And that's why these guys are in charge of this now “auditing”.

To ascertain freedom or not of expression, it takes every night (on Monday) to see “television sets”. Nothing more.
