Murati takes over the role of Constitutional expert, says Dehari will not cast the report on mandates

In office of Finance Minister Iron Murati, just minutes before the start of the third session of the Assembly Constitution, has taken on the role of the Constitutional expert, and according to him, only new elections are the way for the situation created in the Kosovo Assembly, Periscope broadcast. He has warned that the Commission's report on Verification [...]

He has warned that the Commission's report on Massification will be put to the polls, since, according to him, “an issue which the Parliament has decisions on, cannot be put into revote. The vote has been consumed”

Although the Constitution says otherwise, that the evidence for the constitutionalisation of the Assembly does not lead the country to new elections, Murati, by dramatising the situation and blaming the opposition, says the <x0-procession should be turned to zero point ʹ so a new electoral process that produces a new legislature which has the sense of accepting the mandate given by the people”.

At the 126th point of ruling the Constitutional Court in 2014, the Court reportedly notes that in the Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo, there is no indication that testimony to the election of the Speaker of the Parliament would cause the holding of new parliamentary elections.

Murat Posting:

It seems to me that some still do not understand what the opposition has done on April 15th.

The report for verification of mandates on 15 April was put to the polls, and was rejected as a result of PDK, LDK, AAK, and Serbian List votes.

One issue the Parliament has decisions on, cannot be revoted. The vote has been consumed.

In revote, the issue is dropped only if there was no quorum for decision-making, as was the case in 2014, with only 44 MPs participating in the vote the first time.

Following this disastrous opposition decision, decision-making in the Assembly lies blocked in front of an insurmountable wall. MPs can swear because they have refused to verify their mandates.

Such rejection of opposition parties has never happened.

Practically, this suggests that MPs have rejected the mandate, and the process should be turned to zero point ʹ so a new electoral process that produces a new legislature which, it has the sense to accept the mandate given by the people.

The only other way to avoid the new election scenario is a unanimous political agreement, where only MPs who have refused the mandate with their vote withdraw and leave their country to other colleagues from the same subject. A similar thing had happened in the legislature we left behind with the deputies of the Serbian List.
