Next test: Will the chairman and deputy heads of the Parliament be elected today?

MPs from the Kosovo Assembly will gather again today for the fifth time in an effort to elect the mayor and vice president. At Saturday's session, the report on verification of mandates was voted, and MPs were sworn in, meanwhile, the LVV proposal for Albulen Haxhiu speaker of the Parliament did not get enough votes. And at Monday's session, Vetevendosje Movement MP Glauk Konjufca said that LV candidate for Parliament Speaker Albulen Haxhiu continues to remain, but added that given the stances of other political subjects, the current situation cannot be resolved differently than with a political agreement.

The creation of a majority here in the Assembly will not be able to establish even the Parliament itself. The same logic is true of subheaders”, Konjufca stressed.

In order not to repeat the same situation, he asked the chairman for an additional time.

After that, Presiding Avni Dehari announced its suspension and follow-up for today, April 23, 10:00.

But will we today be with the chief officers and deputy heads of the Parliament?

LVV MP Jelal Svecla on Tuesday has not answered that question.

He has not indicated whether the chief parliament will be voted in Wednesday and on the solution and political agreement for the full constitutionalisation of the ninth legislature.

List MP “Gux” Faton Peci has declared that the country needs a majority Albanian government and that it should not allow the formation of institutions to remain depending on non-most communities.

“We don't have the luxury to leave Kosovo's fate on the whims and the fun of some non-most communities, I talk about Bosniaks and others --” said Peci in an interview for the RTK Prime show.

He stressed that a common solution is needed to get out of the current institutional situation.

Peci blamed the situation on opposition parties and the Serbian List.

The opposition -- LDK, PDK, AAK and Serbian List -- complicated the “Situal. They lined up only to vote against, with no other constructive purpose,” said Vetevendosje MP.

Meanwhile, Democratic Party of Kosovo deputy (PDK) Blerta Deliu-Codra has said she will not vote for the candidate for the prime ministerial by the Vetevendosje Movement, Albulen Haxhiu.

Kodra-Deliu has written through a post on the social network on Facebook that Haxhiu has been leading justice for four years, but as she said “pa served justice.

She also said she is a minister who has violated the Constitution several times.

Whether LVV can secure enough votes for Haxhiu is expected to be seen at Wednesday's session, which is scheduled to begin at 10:00. /Periscope/
