The prime minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, has now hosted European Union Special Representative for Kosovo-Serbia Dialogue Peter Sorensen.
According to a media report it becomes known that at this first official meeting in the prime minister's office, he congratulated Sorensen on his new role and announced it with recent developments in the country and steps towards forming institutions in the 9th legislature.
The prime minister requested from the emissar Sørensen that the EU immediately remove unjust measures against Kosovo. He stressed the unhealthy contradiction for the EU, its fundamental values and for reforms undertaken by the Government of Kosovo with the great support of citizens, which in the same period when the country marks the largest democratic establishment, even according to international indicators, be simultaneously under EU limit measures”, the report said.
The report reportedly discussed the EU-mediated dialogue process and the road forward.
The prime minister stressed the importance of full and unconditional implementation of the Bazic Agreement and the Ohrid Annex. Recalling the pre-militar attack on Banjsk in September 2023 and the terrorist attack on Iber-Lepenc in November last year, he also underlined the danger that chief terrorist Milan Radojciq, along with his group, continues to submit to the country's security and normalise relations under the dialogue process as long as it is still free in Serbia, despite the acceptance of pre-entity in Serbia and the 160-page indictment by the Kosovo Republic's Prosecutor. So, he reiterated the call, that Radojcik and his group will be handed over to Kosovo for trial”, said among other things in the announcement. /Periscopi/
