An 85-year-old woman from the Serb community died Saturday after her house was engulfed in flames in the village of Hoça the Great, in the municipality of Rahoveci.
According to the Kosovo Police, around 14:55 was reported for the fire, with police units, firefighters and emergency teams leaving immediately at the scene. After the flames were extinguished, the dead body of the elderly was found inside the house, reports Periscope.
Early suspicions indicate that the fire may have been accidentally caused by a stove used for heating. However, the final cause of death is expected to be confirmed after the forensic examination, which has been ordered by the state prosecutor.
