Eugen Cakoli from DnV has reacted to PZAP's decisions on political subjects' complaints, which said complaints were not based on sufficient evidence and failed to meet the legal criteria to justify recounting or annulment.

He explains the procedures for what happens after PZAP's decisions, according to Cakoli “political entities have 48 hours to accept the PZAP decision to exercise their right to appeal to the Supreme Court. The latter has 96 hours to review and place on these complaints”.

Hence, it claims that, “results will be able to be certified at most distance in the middle of next week”.

His full post:

PZAP has rejected all complaints filed by political subjects who opposed the election results or demanded intervention in the process. Under the decisions, complaints were not based on sufficient evidence and failed to meet the legal criteria to justify recounting or annulment of votes.

It is extremely important that allegations of irregularities should rely on convincing evidence, and not only on speculation, assumptions, trends or high percentages of votes for any candidate.

Currently, according to legal procedures, political subjects have 48 hours since the PZAP's decision to exercise their right to appeal to the Supreme Court. The latter has 96 hours to investigate and decide on these complaints.

Following the current dynamics, if complaints are filed at the Supreme Authority, with the assumption that neither will it go beyond the PZAP argument, the results will be certified further in the middle of next week./Periscopi/
