Kosovo Police: Election process passed smoothly, without serious incidents

Through a media communiqué, Kosovo police have announced that the pre-emptive operational plan for the management of the election process, during and after the election process was successfully realised on the entire territory of the Republic of Kosovo.

The implementation of the police plan, co-operation and inter-institute co-ordination has positively impacted the entire electoral process to pass smoothly and without any major incident that would have hampered the electoral process, so it assessed in terms of security, the election process has gone smoothly and without serious incident”, becomes known in the communique.

Meanwhile, it becomes known that Kosovo Police in co-operation and co-ordination with the State Prosecutor, today it has initiated six cases, out of them three cases of criminal nature “Criminal Action Against Voting Rights” and two criminal cases “Attack on the official person, Candor “.

Seven suspected persons, with the prosecutor's authorization four of them being sent to the holding, were released to regular procedure, cases that did not affect the overall election process.
