Whitetop, the camel that has been living since 2006 at the Victoria Junction Camp for children with serious illness and chronic medical conditions in Randleman, was officially officially declared the oldest camel ever by Guinness World Records.
He's so nice to our kids that just start camp days, he just lies down and doesn't get up till lunch. He simply lies down and lets children run up to him and love him”, said Billy Jo Davis, director of the stable at Victory Junction, for Guinness World Records. He treats it like a job. It's his job. ”
Whitetop spends days surrounded by children in the camp that works throughout the year, as well as nine horses, two sheep, two rabbits, two young donkeys, and a miniature high cow. The cow, called Gus-Gus, is Whitetop's closest companion.
Because they played so much together, Gus-Gus thinks Whitetop is a cow. He likes to try to hop on it and play with it, and we say, no, he's old, leave him alone! But Whitetop is just too sweet to them”, Davis said. /Telegraphy/
