At the dedication published, Corabi says that even though his father entered retirement age, he remains a figure that “never ages”, having enlightened Albanian art with his memorable voice and songs.
“Happy 65th birthday, dear father, Ilir Shaqiri.
Though I am far off this day, my heart is at your side, at your voice that raised me, your songs that became history, your soul which knows no weariness. You are one of those men who never age, because they live in the lighting of art, in the calling of the mission, in the oath of song. And indeed, there is no retirement for the artist, not for an artist like you, who has shed light and pride in every Albanian house”, Corabi wrote.
Among other things, he thanks his father for the sacrifices, advice, and example he has set throughout his life, stressing that the artist's contribution will remain immortal in every Albanian home.
