The Central Election Commission (KQZ) has announced that on Friday five members of the Municipal Election Commission (KKZ) in the Ferizaj municipality are involved in a traffic accident, while engaged in carrying out their official duties under the electoral process.
The CEC says their situation is serious and they are being treated at QKUK.
“According to first information, the state of health and four of them is serious and are currently being treated at the University Clinical Centre in Kosovo (QKUK). For further details concerning their situation, we recommend that appropriate health institutions be contacted. The five officials involved in the event were committed to completing the election process in the Ferizaj municipality, which was held October 12th across the country”, the announcement follows.
On the other hand, it is said that in these difficult times, the Central Election Commission expresses deep concern about the event and prays for the quick recovery of them.
