Arrested for Millions of Drugs in Pec, admits that he has made its cultivation and processing

The Basic Prosecutor's Department for Crimes in Pec has assigned the 1 month detention measure to Albanian citizens, defendants Alex Gerby, as suspected of developing drugs.

He is suspected of major drug parcels, which were seized yesterday in the large anti-drug action of the Peja Foundation Prosecutor, in co-operation with the Kosovo Police, in the villages of Klic and Pec Spherka, whose value amounted to over 5m euros.

It says the defendant Gerby has acknowledged that “was constantly in those parcels, made the cultivation of narcotic plants and processing them”.

During the hearing, the State Attorney reportedly declared that there is a suspicion based that the defendant committed the crime he was charged with, and that this confirms the evidence: Photos of the scene.

It is also known that Gerby has been suspected in the past of the same criminal act.

The number of plants planted in the secuested parcels is said to be 2850 sosh, said to be ready for sale.

For the criminal work Gerbi allegedly suspected, “Setivation of hashish plant, cocaine bush, or cannabis plant”, the penalty is provided by fines and imprisonment of three to fifteen years.
