Infrastructure Minister Lieburn Aliu has said that contracts for construction of the Prizren-Tetovo road have been signed today.
Aliu announced that contracts for Lot 1 and Lot 3, which together are worth over 18m euros, were signed this Friday.
“Today contracts have been signed for implementation of Prizren-Testovo Road, measuring 20,350km, as well as building the Prizren-Kuzari Road with Northern Macedonia (Tett), for Lot 1 worth 7,99,999.00 euros, and Lot 3 worth 8,346,804.38 euros”.
This road connects two international highways that cross both sides of the Sharr Mountains, and the connection of these two roads to the nearest point between them, except that it approaches our two cities and two states, it also enables the opening of a new economic-effective road corridor for both countries”, Aliu wrote.
He also made it known that the Procureing Organization has turned Lot 2 into a reassession, which, Aliu gave no details about why this has been done.
