This year's March 25th Japan government lifted visas for Kosovo citizens who have diplomatic and official passports

This topic is believed to have been a topic of discussion in Japan's foreign minister Yoko Kamikaea's talks with Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti and diplomacy chief Donika Gervala.

The visit was the first of such a high state official in Pristina since the establishment of diplomatic relations 15 years ago.

During the meeting with Prime Minister Kurti, Kamikawa has said that “welfare and stability in the Western Balkans are essential for the whole of Europe.
