The European football house (UEFA) has confirmed the change for the European Championship “Europa 2024”, allowing teams to assemble 26 football players.
At preliminary editions the teams traveled to their compound with 23 football players, but U n The EFA has made a decision to increase its number to 26 for the European Championship “Euro-2024).
“Executive Committee U n EFA has decided today to raise the maximum number of teams participating in the U. EFA EURO 2024 from the initial quota of 23 to 26 players. The increase does not present obligation for participating national associations. In accordance with race regulations, teams should offer U n EFA's a list containing a minimum of 23 players and a maximum of 26 to the 7 June” deadline, UEFA's announcement reported.
Most of the trainers and nationals have agreed on this decision, yet there were some who had criticized such a decision.
With the new decision, Coach Sylvinho will have greater opportunities for the gathering of Albanian footballers.
Albania is in a group with Italy, Croatia and Spain.
