Elections in the city's municipalities in Belgrade, Nis and Pozharevc should be announced by local assembly mayors, chairman of the Acting Authority in the capital, respectively.

Local elections will be held in those municipalities where they were not held in December.

In order for these elections to be held on June 2nd along with Belgrade's elections, Parliament has earlier changed the Law on Local Elections, which has been an agreement between the government and a part of the opposition, while the rest of the opposition has made the decision not to participate in the elections because they believe there are no conditions for them.
