Light comes out in official response, confirms Valon Zymber will remain sports director

The FC Light has reacted for the first time to the sports director's case, Valon Zymber, who is in custody following the physical assault he made on the leader of the typho-group, “Intellectuals”, along with several others.

The Gulf Club condemned the violence, but confirmed that Zymber would not leave his position.

We confirm that until Mr. Zymber doesn't violate our company's statute will be in the position he's had so far”, said in response.

The chairmanship and management staff of the FC Light following the analysis of the created situation voice the concern and full condemnation of the event, which took place on Wednesday after the Cup match between Light and Pristina.

In connection with the physical attack on the fan chairman, it is clear that this behavior is unacceptable and strongly condemned. We can't allow the passionate football match to turn into physical violence.

However, it is important to note that the situation has gone in this direction because of a long history of tensions and mutual hatred among individuals involved. In particular, tensions between FC Director of Light. Valon Zymber and fans “Intellectuals” have been visible for a long time. This is the result of people in the shadows who manipulate fans for personal interests. Our sports director, Mr. Valon Zymber, has been the object of intense pressure and repeated hatred by some individuals, which has caused a sensitive climate of tension. For years, some individuals with personal interests have pressured and used fans to create hatred and tension against club leadership, especially sports director, Mr. Vallon Zymber. Instead of contributing to the development of the club and to the advancement of local sports, these individuals have chosen to manipulate and spread words of hatred, bringing an unacceptable climate to all participants in sports.

In the case of the attack, it is clear that the Director of Sports's reaction has been influenced by emotional factors and tensions created by the face of verbal abuse and pressure, citing the addition of photos to the pillars and public sites of Valon Zymber with insults and Submissions. Knowing this, our reaction should include a call to understand the context and examine not only the outside images of situations but also the emotional and psychological factors that may have affected individuals ' behavior.

At the same time, we remain firm in our stand for severe punishment of violence and its use as a means of resolving conflicts. Through mutual communication and respect, we can find lasting and peaceful ways to resolve conflicts and build a healthy and harmonious environment for all.

As a sports club, we support values of respect and cooperation, and these violent acts do not match our values. The club is a business registered under Kosovo laws and managed by two legitimate owners, and we do not allow external influence on our management decisions. So we confirm that until Mr. Zymber doesn't violate our company's statute will be in the position he's had so far.

However, it is important to note that we cannot justify any form of violence or aggression, regardless of reasoning. We trust justice institutions to handle issues fairly and professionally.

The FC Light has a glorious history and great potential for the future in football. It is our duty to ensure that this potential is represented in the best way and to build a positive climate of commitment and passion for the game.
