The September 24th terrorist attack is viewed as very dangerous.

Former advisor to President Barack Obama's administration, Charles Kupchan, in an interview for Tawa, is assessing this attack with a terrible and potential for widespread violence.

There is no doubt that individuals responsible for the Banjska attack must be punished, and the pressure must be done in Serbian authorities to do what is necessary to hold those people accountable. It was a terrible attack, with the potential to pass into a broader-sized violence, we saw NATO's reaction by adding the number of forces within Kosovo -- a clear sign that NATO is concerned about the spread of violence. So this was a very dangerous moment, and the responsible persons must account for”, he stated.

Charles Kupchan has also talked about the Ohrid Agreement, where he says the US and the EU should pressure the two countries -- Kosovo and Serbia -- on its implementation.

“I think that the EU and the United States that are now working closely should pressure on both sides, because both sides share blame, which have not advanced towards normalisation, implementation of the Ohrid Agreement”, he has declared.

Charles Kupchan in this interview for Tv1, says the final decision for the dinar was taken at a critical moment of politics between Kosovo and Serbia.

Although according to him, Kosovo is justly insisting that the only currency remain the euro.

I think Prime Minister Kurti has every political and legal right, that Serbs in the north should use the euro, just like here in the United States, where those living in Florida use the dollar. But in the context of a delicate moment when Serbia and Kosovo are hoping, trying to support the Ohrid Agreement, I think such actions are not useful but unnecessary and provocative. ”

According to American International Relations Professor Albin Kurti and Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq, are playing the role of nationalism instead of making decisions, as it says, difficult.

“I am confident that, in the end, Kosovo and Serbia will reconcile and normalise relations. In my mind it's a question when that's gonna happen, not if that happens. I think it's a moment when both Kurti and Vuciq should prove political courage, make solutions and serious concessions, but instead what we're seeing is that they're playing the role of nationalism, which is not useful”, he says.

Hard work took place on the UN Security Council between Prime Minister Kurti and Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq, professor from the Georgetown university, praised the heated debate following a series of decisions by the government of the Republic of Kosovo.
