The Central Election Commission has opened the call for accrediting observers for the February 9th elections.
The CEC has invited political subjects, nongovernmental, government, international organisations, representatives of foreign countries and the media to apply for observer accreditment.
“Aphats for application: Political subjects: December 25, 2024, February 4, 2025; Nongovernmental, government, intergovernmental, international and foreign-state representatives: 11 January 25, 2025; Local and international media: January 21st, February 4th 2025<18x1>, the CEC's announcement said.
Furthermore, the CEC said only accredited observers will be allowed to monitor the elections and activities that will take place at 38 Community Counting Centres and the Results Counting Centre.
