After the United States of America, Germany has also asked Serbia to reconsider its bill declaring Kosovo a special protection zone and jurisdiction of criminal acts.
German Ambassador to Kosovo Jorn Rohde has distributed a post of the German Foreign Office, which, among other things, has called for implementation of the Ohrid Agreement on both sides, Kosovo and Serbia.
In X, this office has asked Serbia to reconsider Serbia's draft law for Kosovo's declaration of special protection area and jurisdiction of criminal acts.
“We urge Serbia to reconsider. The two Kosovo and Serbia countries must implement the 2023 Ohrid Agreement without delay, including the ESM”, it is said in their application published on the X platform.
According to Rohdes, who has distributed this request, such an act of Serbia constitutes a clear violation of the dialogue's obligations.
“Germania urges Serbia to re-examine its bill declaring Kosovo a special protection area and jurisdiction of criminal acts, as this would constitute clear violations of the dialogue' obligations”, the ambassador has written.
