Today, at 12:00, ahead of the Kosovo Assembly, a protest will take place in support of the Parliament's technical workers, which have been on strike for three weeks.

Organised by the Centre for Religious Thinking and Action, the protest aims to bring attention to workers' demands for wages and more dignified working conditions.

According to Kolestik's announcement, workers are facing numerous difficulties during the strike.

“They are standing in cold, rain, and without support for three consecutive weeks... to demand wages and dignified working conditions,” is highlighted in the statement.

Currently, their salaries are only 275 euros, while there is danger that for September they will not get paid at all and lose their jobs.

The report also raises concern for Schafberger Company, which has ignored workers ' demands, creating uncertainty about their future, especially with the conclusion of the company's contract with the Assembly in early November.

“The deterioration of climate conditions and the outcome of the contract poses a direct risk to them,” says Cotives.

The protest aims to mobilise the public not to allow their “volta to disappear” and to ensure that workers do not remain with low wages or to be fired.

And their resistance is also our fight,” said at the end of the announcement, calling for solidarity and continued support.
