At a mosque in Kosovo, there are concerns that children are being taught about Wahabism, an ideology which is considered contrary to most of the practices of Islam.

It's about the Kushumli mosque in Pec, called Ernes Goga, reports Paparaci.

There, during the children's lessons on the Religion Courses organised by BIK, Wahabism is taught, beginning in Namaz and the conditions of Namaz according to Muhamed bin Abdulvehab.

This has prompted discussions concerning the measures needed to prevent the spread of this ideology, as well as whether the Islamic Community Central Chiefship in Kosovo is informed for this case.

Citizen Ademi has denounced the case, announcing that over a period of more than two years, children are taught about Wahhabiism, which has not happened before.

As the accuser claims, “aty is taught that the conditions of prayer are 9, which, in fact, according to the book published by BIC and Naim Ternava, conditions of prayer are 12.

Then Adam will tell them that by the news they have been able to master, there will be no finality of the Qur'an, nor will there be any change in it.

To that end, questions arise as to whether BIK was informed of his faith before he was employed in that mosque as well as whether he was currently aware of his actions.

This is not the first time children have been taught things different from what Islam actually says at mosques.

Paparac had also reported how the Matti 1 mosque in Pristina, with imam Fadil Musliu misusing children to teach them how to persuade parents not to celebrate the New Year's.

While the Islamic Community of Kosovo (BIK) has distanced itself from that activity. Pristina's Islamic Community Council has said it will interview mosque imam Matti 1, Fadil Musliu.

All these cases are bringing debate on the role of the mosque in religious education and the interpretation of different rites in Islam.
