An 85-year-old Harvard study found that the most important thing that brings happiness to life is positive relations and good friendships.
Maintaining long - term friendships is one of seven human practices of happiness and health, the study revealed.
Arthur Brooks, a Harvard professor who runs a course of happy management at this university, believes we need these three friendships to feel happy in life:
Good Friendships: Think about your dealings with the people you work with or do business with. These relationships tend to be interactive and often bring positive signals to your reports.

Friendships based on pleasure: This kind of relationship is based on mutual admiration because each person gets satisfaction from the other. If a person sees his funny and interesting friend, this is a source of satisfaction and is likely a friendship based on the latter.
Password “Perfect”: Perfect friendships are among people who have mutual love for something not only united but also based on virtue. A relationship is perfect, not when based on benefit or pleasure, but when it focuses on improving the circumstances of the other person.

The “perfect friendships” are extremely necessary to have in life, except for two other kinds of friendships, for true satisfaction.
