But how do you know you're in a overwhelming environment at work? A group of British sociologists and psychologists have listed five signs, which not necessarily prove it.
First. You feel victimized, where everything that goes wrong is you. You're being rebuked, but they don't give you the answer to how the situation can be corrected. There is no clear direction, and you see yourself performing other duties.
Second. No communication. Your meetings seem disorganized, there is a lack of concentration, and the uncertainty of what is happening on your work schedule is the general feeling. You always feel left out of the decision-making process, and your superiors never listen to you.
Third. You have a constant sense of fear when you think you're going to work. This is the effect of a toxic environment on the job, which is reflected in all employees.
Fourth. Because of your lack of organization, you find yourself working long hours, but despite that, you are neglected, deaf, and underestimated.
Fifth. There's no limit or respect for your personal life, and your superior can call you and ask you to come to work on your vacation day, or return from your early annual permit.
