The chairman of the Kosovo Alliance of Business (AKB), Agim Sahini, has shown factors that have influenced the growth of Customs revenues.
He has suggested that some factors have influenced him in this regard.
Sahin has estimated that it cannot be said that the Government has had any impact on the growth of these revenues.
According to him, for this increase one should thank consumers and businesses that have increased their activity first.
“Second is what has hit Kosovo and the Kosovo market, inflation, price hikes, but also increased consumption. The fourth is that customs often raise bills, reject imports bills, and they grow artificially, in these cases harm businesses, and we have a lot of complaints about customs, and they are under trial.” said Sahin for EO.
He has estimated that normal inflation has also affected this increase.
“However, this is not the result of Kosovo's economic growth, it is the result of inflation that price hikes. We don't have quantitative consumer growth, but we have price increases and this is natural in every country and that doesn't give us economic growth indicators.”, he said.
