Hypocritical Power: He accuses opposition of laws in Constitutional, he himself gets hit once he's called in when he can.

Hypocritical Power: He accuses opposition of laws in Constitutional, he himself gets hit once he's called in when he can.

With the arrival of the ruling Kurt government, work has also increased in the Constitutional Court. This is because opposition parties, in the inability to halt certain laws which they say are contrary to the country's highest judicial act, have decided to address the Constitutional, writes Periscope. So far, the opposition has sent a lot [...]

So far, the opposition has submitted six laws for review to the Constitutional Court.

In addition to the Law on Minimial Page, the opposition has also submitted the Law to public officials, the Law for Seting Intropries, the Law for the Prosecutorial Council, as well as the Law for the State Bureau for Verification and Confisification of Inexcussible Riches.

The last to be sent was the Law on Taxation in Property, by the Kosovo Communist Association.

But sending laws to the Court for review is hampering power, viewing it as an act of obstruction to the government.

Surprised with this approach of the government are connoisseurs of judicial issues who see no rationality in the idea of rejecting the submission of laws for assessment in the Constitutional.

Moreover, they appreciate that the opposite is true, for through recognition of the constitutionality of the laws, it is possible to confirm that none of the laws escape or contradict the Constitution.

As expected, however, Kurt's cabinet ministers have repeatedly attacked opposition parties after submitting laws there.

On the other hand, the head of the government himself refers to the Constitution when asked about one of his key promises before coming to power.

The opposition Albin Kurti constantly trumpeted the union with Albania, has now decided to rely on the Constitution whenever asked about the subject.

Do you or do you not want Kosovo to join Albania?

That's how Greek journalist Tania Bozaniou, Prime Minister Albin Kurti asks the Greek newspaper “in the interview. To Vima”

In this question, Kurti decides to avoid answering, saying the Constitution of Kosovo currently does not allow that, while stressing that reports between the two countries “are excellent”.

“To Vima”: In other words, do you or do you not want Kosovo to join Albania?

Kurti: For now Kosovo constitution does not allow and we are focused on defending our country, its territorial integrity and sovereignty, but I repeat that we have excellent relations with Albania and, even though we are one nation, we are two different states.

That question came to Kurt after his first question, which he chose to avoid. There he accused Serbia of blowing this thesis to protect the Serbian idea of uniting Serbs into a state.

However, Kurt's approach to constitutional decisions remains disturbing.

When he was banned from Vetevendosje's list of February 14, 2021, after Kurti had been sentenced in January 2018 for two criminal acts: the use of weapons or dangerous means and for obstructing the official person during the official duty, he had reacted by being called to “the mouth of the people”.

Asked about it, he had placed himself on CEC decisions. With a statement about dangerous thinking, he said: “BIs that all of us are witnesses that we are joyfully waiting for February 14 and this great will of citizens for change, in 2021 I believe That also needs to be followed by relevant institutions of the state”.

He had added that relevant institutions in the country should follow the will of the population rather than face it.

You know that I am the bearer of the list and this with the decision of the General Council of Vetevendosje Movement and the Headship of the Vetevendosje Movement, State institutions must follow the will of people conscious as never before in post-war Kosovo, not face it”, had declared that Kurti world. /Periscopi/
