The coalition for Montenegro's future, with pro-Serbian and pro-Russian trends, was not supported by the US or the EU.

Spajic said the new government coalition has the backing of 44 deputies from 80 total. Alexa Becic's office is going to be the post of chief parliament. The parliamentary session of voting of the new prime minister, which will be followed by the presentation of the new government's programme and the approval of the list of ministers.

Outgoing Prime Minister Dritan Abazovic said Montenegro “would never have a more comprehensive government” than the one directed by it.
