Spain does not change its attitude towards Kosovo: Osmani wishes for EU Council presidency

Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani has congratulated Spain on assuming the presidency at the EU Council.

Osmani has written through a Twitter post that he is eager to continue efforts to bring Kosovo closer to the European Union.

“Mazi is expected to continue our efforts to bring Kosovo closer to the EU during 2023. I wish Spain a successful presidency”, Osmani says.

Also, the president has thanked Sweden, which so far has held the presidency of the EU council.

“Thank the prime minister of Sweden, Wolf Cristersson for his leadership and commitment to security and stability in Europe”, the president's post follows.

Otherwise, Spain today has taken over the presidency of the EU Council.
