Democratic Party of Kosovo MP Blerta Deliu-Codra and CEC co-ordinator for Finance Arben Mustafa, at a media conference, have denounced the ruling party's decisions last night in the Kosovo Assembly.

According to them, through these laws, KLA veterans are exempting from involvement in the minimum wage on one side and, on the other, at the establishment of the Institute for Crimes committed during the war in Kosovo, have extended the deadline for the investigation until December 31st of 2000.

Deliu-Kodra has said that on June 12th, when NATO and the UN entered Kosovo, there has been no war nor crime that can be attributed to the KLA, as Serbia has claimed, and today, unfortunately, the government of Albin Kurti.

Serbia has sent thousands of documents and factories against KLA in The Hague. Through the passage of this law, in this form the Government has reinforced these charges against KLA. Prime Minister Kurti has been cheating on his public statement last night, addressing citizens that the length of this institute's investigation extends only during the war in Kosovo, 98-99. This is a next trick. The prime minister declares himself on Facebook differently, while, in fact, the length of the investigation of these crimes is until December 31st 2000”, Deliu-Kodra has said.

She has called this government decision a next scandal, for which they will not remain silent and, of course, in co-ordination with Radojciqiqi through their parliamentary group chief Mimoza Kusari-Lila.

“What are the crimes that have occurred after the end of the war in Kosovo and what crime this prime minister is talking about, who, along with his associate parties last night, in the dark, has made an unconventional and anti-national decision that runs into line with the anti-conventional factories. KLA. The PDK will be consistent to stop this anti-national approach of this Government, which co-ordinates with Radojciqicin in making decisions at the expense of the interests of citizens and the state of Kosovo”, has concluded MP Deliu-Kodra.

Co-ordinator for Finance under the CEC, Arben Mustafa, has called the government's next scandalous decision by Albin Kurti, the expulsion of veterans from small minimum wage growth.

“The reason for the pension link of the liberation veteran to the minimum wage has been the estimate that enough money needed by a Kosovo family to meet the minimum living needs. This is not to be forgotten that the veteran pension beneficiaries depend solely on this source of income because they have no right to employment. But what's happening today? Kosovo's government, with the decision to exclude veterans from the minimum wage increase, is proving that for a Kosovo family having an employee, a minimum wage of 170 euros is not enough to meet basic living needs, but it needs 264 euros, while a family of the KLA veteran should be sufficient at 170 euros”, Mustafa said.

According to him, this decision represents an unscrupulous discrimination against a category of the country's most noble citizens.

In fact, from these people who are being compared to mercenaries and complain of them to Slavko Simic and Milan Radojqiqi could not possibly expect anything better”, Mustafa further said.

Mustafa has said the PDK would not give up demands to ensure a more dignified life for those who ruled out Kosovo when there was a greater need.

The moment this law appears in the official newspaper, The PDK will take all measures to change this law”, Mustafa has said.

Furthermore, Mustafa has said that this minimum wage level represents only another surrender of this government before the needs of Kosovo citizens for improving living conditions.

This minimum wage was proposed by this Government years ago, and by citizens and representatives of workers was considered insufficient to meet the minimum living needs of a Kosovo family. In the meantime, a huge increase in prices has taken place in Kosovo, which is making Kosovo citizens more and more poor every day. Numerous basic products have marked increases of over 40 and 50%, while electricity and property taxes have increased by over 100%<18x1>, Mustafa concluded.
