Police in Nevada have confirmed that they left a search warrant this week in connection with the unprecedented murder of Tupac Shakur.
Investigators conducted the search at a house in Henderson, a suburb of Las Vegas where Shakur was shot dead in September 1996.
Las Vegas Metropolitan Police did not provide further details of the search, citing the ongoing investigation into his murder, the BBC writes.
Shakur was 25 when he was killed.
So far, no one has been arrested and no suspects are currently in custody.
The house that was searched is less than 20 miles (32 km) from the Las Vegas generation where Shakur was shot while he was in the car.
“LVMPD can confirm that a search warrant has been handed over to Henderson, Nevada on July 17th 2023, as part of the ongoing investigation into the murder of Tupac Shakur”, a statement by the Las Vegas police. /Periscopi/
