Rafuna says the import ban from this state has had additional costs to businesses, as goods are paid and not allowed to enter within Kosovo's territory.

He has addressed criticism in the direction of the Government for lack of dialogue with the private sector.

The “Businesses have not been informed and this is a request that has emerged from the Kosovo Economic Ode before such a decision is made, to consult businesses because we are missing a public-private dialogue with the Government of Kosovo from the beginning. At least to advance notice, to have the opportunity to prepare for the good of business, but also for the benefit of citizens”, Rafuna says.

This has affected additional costs for business, because it has happened that the mauna has reached 10 minutes after the measure has been imposed and the measure is not allowed, as opposed to the Kosovo signposts and the goods of Serbia's origin, so it has affected because the goods are paid, it is not accepted to go back and with a far form has remained at the limit of”, he says.

The deployment of these measures, according to Rafuna, is not a good mirror for Kosovo, as according to him, it sends a bad message to foreign potential investors.

We are very much in need and eager to have foreign quality investments but also to increase local investments. We need to start with our investors we have inside and through foreign investors, but mirrors, the violence exercised among KFOR soldiers are not a good mirror to come an investor with investment in Kosovo. Setting these measures that directly affect business is not a good message to come with invested in Kosovo”, he says.

Speaking of the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, and successive crises in the country's north, Rafuna calls it a heavy burden to the state. It says that Kosovo for so many years nobody talks about economic development.

He has demanded that these topics be closed as soon as possible so that the state can concentrate on economic development.

“is not a good image, we need to then as many good images as possible, it needs to be followed by more stories of Kosovo's success. In the open topics we have with Serbia, it needs to close as soon as possible, it needs to be freed from this burden and to concentrate on the country's economic development. This open topic, this dialogue with Serbia is holding us hostage, we are wasting time and that two years nobody talks about economics, health and rule of law. We've concentrated on dialogue, so this status which is Kosovo, at least, agrees with Kosovo. It takes as soon as it closes and then a larger economic development, to become a member of all international organizations that gives breath and relief to our business to penetrate out of”.
