The United States envoy for the Western Balkans, Gabriel Escobar, has today met with former Albanian President Ilir Meta, with whom he has discussed various issues including Kosovo-Serbia dialogue.
He, through a tweet on Twitter, has stressed that US support in the dialogue process is essential.
“thought the US commitment to the negotiation process between Kosovo and Serbia is essential and guarantees the successful conclusion of dialogue between the two countries”, Meta has written.
Escobar is staying for official visit to Albania from yesterday, he met with Albania's president, Bajram Begaj, and Prime Minister Edi Rama.
