“KLA leaders are innocent and this will be confirmed in court”

Montenegro's incumbent Prime Minister Dritan Abazovic has responded to the statement that Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti gave earlier days concerning the presidential election in Montenegro. Kurti has expressed concern if he wins the current president's counter-Candidate, as in his view the way of the Montenegrin nation's disappearance will be opened.

In this regard Abazovic stressed that Kurti must sleep comfortably and that no one needs to worry about Montenegro's future.

I have tremendous respect for the Kosovo prime minister, but I think everyone has problems at home and for Montenegro no one needs to worry except us. I don't like to create a misunderstanding, but I don't think anyone can sleep alone in terms of Montenegro. Montenegro is now making good results for two years, and is going in the right direction even in terms of rule of law, justice and the economy. If we sleep well in Montenegro, then no one needs to be worried in the region. We are a very peaceful state and we will try to deal with these issues in the future. This has nothing to do with Kosovo's prime minister, but with some statements coming from many politicians from the region”, Abazovic stressed.
