Djukanovic, Milatovic in Montenegro's second round of elections for president

Montenegrin citizens have voted Sunday to elect the country's president.
According to the Centre for Democratic Transition, voter turnout has amounted to 63.6 percent.
Djukanovic said he was pleased with the result.
I've won more than 120,000 votes, that's a valid result. This is a serious priority over the other candidate. We are happy for such a level of support, and that is a good basis that will lead us to victory”.
Former Minister Milatovic, pro-European economist from the Europe Movement Now, has said his outcome represents victories in these elections.
I promised to win, and we won. This is a victory for all those who have been discriminated against in the last 30 years, whose children have left Montenegro, for those who have not had justice. We will send Djukanovic to political retirement, on April 2,”.
The official result is not expected to be published several days due to reviewing complaints.
Djukanovic has served as president, or prime minister, of Montenegro, for 33 years.
Besides Djukanovic and Milatovitch, there were also: Andrija Majra persecuted, pro-rus and pro-Serbian politician Alexa Beciq, former head of Montenegro's Parliament and leader of the Democrats; Goran Danilovovic, candidate of the United Montenegro coalition; Draginje Vuksanovic Stankovic from the Social Democrat Party and Jovan Joxhir Radulovic, known for the large number of social media followers.
Montenegro, a NATO member country, has about 625,000 inhabitants.
Votering rights in this election have had 542,154 citizens.
