Blinken has been warning publicly for weeks that China is looking into Russian requests for weapons to fight in Ukraine. He spoke after Chinese President Xi Jinping arrived in Moscow this week to promote a proposal for a ceasefire in war, which has been met with scepticism from Washington.
Blinken added that Asia, and China in particular, are watching the Russian invasion “very carefully.
