- Most of the people who claim to be influential are not like that -- and people with many social media followers certainly cannot help your sales.
I learned most of my money from this. Many people claim to be connected with people who invest in initial businesses. Try to raise money for your original business and get to people like that and you'll understand what I mean.
I also thought that if I had someone with 10,000 Twitter followers to share my content, somehow something good would happen in my business. It doesn't work that way. I read a good article in The Atlantic about how the many tweet posts rarely produce circulation on the page from which the content has come.
- Stress and distress are rooted in fear and are spent energy; they never contribute to positive results
I spent 2013 and 2014 worried and afraid that my business would be spent before making enough sales. There was even one point when I remembered going to bed very irritated and waking up in the morning with spasms on my back that kept me in bed for a few days.
It was so bad that I was in the parking lot at the doctor trying to get in the car, I fell to the ground crying because of the pain. The doctor said that my muscles are not visible in ultraviolet rays, but my back spasms were so bad that they appeared!
Eventually, depending on all my worries and anxiety, my business was left without money. Don't waste your energy on anxiety and worry. It's not worth it.
- Meditating does wonders in eliminating, preventing, and managing stress and anxiety
This here is the only thing that helps me manage stress and anxiety, and keeps me focused. If I spend a few days without meditating, I can feel the anxiety of my stomach being disturbed. I meditate 15 minutes a day after I put my twins to sleep.
A good book that I read years ago about meditation was from Wayne Dayer. Making Conscious Contact with God through Mediterranean. There are also applications that help busy people find time for meditation.
- The more you ask, the more lucky you will be.
Yeah. This is the title of my book. Like Antie Oprah saying, that's one thing I know for sure. I know that search too: luck.
- Social media don't help sales. Okay, maybe for some business, but not for mine.
This is very irritating. I know my first consumer is a middle-aged mother. But I didn't understand how to advertise it on Facebook and make it buy something. I'm still experimenting with Facebook ads and I hope I understand soon.
- Good consumer service exceeds many product shortages
Thank God that's true. Many people feel that they should wait until their product or service is perfect before it is launched.
Don't wait.
Launch as soon as you can and see user assessments. You don't have to launch a low-quality product, but you don't need to be perfect. Give your users access through your phone number and email address. And, give them good service by quickly responding to their problems through e-mail and social media, then you'll turn them into paid consumers. I promise.
- When you think you're gonna lose, you're gonna win.
When things seem to be going wrong, they can take a sudden turn that works totally for your own good. So don't worry.
- You should be willing to be able to get what you really want.
That was my truth. And, I realized when I read The Alchemist and the main character got kicked before he got what he wanted, or fulfilled his personal legend.
- Real friends are great.
Friends and strangers are likely to help with your entrepreneurship. But I had friends who were willing to help me even when things in their business were bad. You know who you are.
