The engineer said the power of the earthquake that struck Turkey was about 130 nuclear bombs, or equal to the explosion of our 6ml tritol.

Turkey has a very complicated tectonic construction. The area where the earthquake occurred is called the tectonic area of eastern Anadol, but this earthquake has a very high magnitude, and there has been no such scale. I can say that a magnitude 8 earthquake is equal to the explosion of our 6ml tritol”, the engineer at Euronews Albania said.

Meanwhile, it has reached 33,000 people who have lost their lives in Turkey and Syria as a result of the earthquake. Of them, 1762 victims were reported in Turkey. Over 700 people are thought to have been killed in opposition-controlled Syria, while another 538 were killed in government-controlled parts of the country.
