Turkey has a very complicated tectonic construction. The area where the earthquake occurred is called the tectonic area of eastern Anadol, but this earthquake has a very high magnitude, and there has been no such scale. Meanwhile, it has reached 33,000 people who have lost their lives in Turkey and Syria as a result of the earthquake. Of them, 1762 victims were reported in Turkey. Over 700 people are thought to have been killed in opposition-controlled Syria, while another 538 were killed in government-controlled parts of the country.
