Violet's son Kukatet, a fiery mountain at the RTS song festival

The 62nd edition of the Song Festival on Albanian Radio Television ( RTS.

As is usually the case, the contest at this Festival is such that the winning song then represents Albania in the Eurovision contest.

As RTS reports, on the official channel this year, the festival has decided to defend a very important cause that is increasing public awareness of Climate Change.

One of the most interesting performances at the beginning of this edition is that of Mal Retkocer, who once was the son of the renowned Kosovo singer, Mrs. Violet Kukaj.

The RTSH Song Festival started its journey in 1962 in the Hall of the High Arts Institute, and until 1971 was first broadcast only on Radio Tirana waves, so it has been named in those years as the Song Festival on Radio. The 10th edition would be broadcast for the first time on Albanian Television screen.

Directors, composers, singers, poets, conductors, instrumentists and artists have established this event of Albanian music over the years. /periscope
