According to European officials, commitments towards breaking the situation in northern Kosovo are the best practical example of co-operation between the EU and the North Atlantic Alliance.
European Union Assistant Peter Stano has stated that the current geostragic context of co-operation between the European bloc and the Atlantic Alliance is extremely strong and relevant as never before.
The commitments towards the failure of Kosovo's north, according to Stanos, are the best practical example of co-operation between The EU and NATO.
The last “was in the north of Kosovo in the course between Christmas and New Year, when the EU and NATO were closely co-ordinated on the ground. And we're co-ordinated and we're working very closely even in the context of the illegal Russian aggression against Ukraine”, Stano has launched.
The European Union's assistant has been doing that by asking them when NATO and the EU will sign the common statement, much welcomed and has to do with fighting in Ukraine.
The signing of this statement is expected to occur now and many months and the same will be a united call for Russia to stop its war and leave Ukraine.
The text of the statement was signed during the year 2022, but the adoption has been mired in the fear of tensions between Cyprus as an EU member and Turkey as a NATO member.
“Of course it's important to sign a joint statement, and we expect this to happen as soon as possible”, this means Stano, assistant of the European Union.
Forming the text of common declarations would represent a considerable diplomatic achievement, given the months of commitments it took to reach this moment.
