He has also stressed that they are committed to supporting Kosovo in exploiting its most important source of its youth.
“The United States helped sponsor this conference because we are committed to supporting independent media as well as civil society, and because we consider freedom of speech and freedom of expression as fundamental rights needed to advance democracy, rule of law and economic prosperity”, Houvenier said in his speech, which was distributed from the American Embassy's Facebook page.
“Working to seek weaknesses among media institutions, you are helping identify possible security violations, and you are helping these organisations strengthen their defence so that this flow of information remains secure”, it is expressed further.
