The Constitutional Court makes the decision on Jakac's mandate: Shut Down the Case

The Constitutional Court of the Republic of Albania has decided to drop the issue for the mandate of Socialist MP Olta Jaka.

It was the opposition who had deposited the constitutional requirement for Jakka's mandate as incompatible with the Constitution of the Republic of Albania, after the assembly refused to establish the parliamentary investigative commission.

Conditionary suggests that this issue must be fired and that the Republic of Albania's Parliament must first be expressed

Constitutional decision:

1. For first research, according to the demand object, related to the abolition of decisions no. 83/2022, Albania's 17.11.22th Assembly of “for failing to approve the parliamentary minority report in the Council for Order, Mandata and Immmity, with the object of completing worthlessness and the end of MP Olita Jakka” and No. 84, the date 17.11.2022 “for the adoption of the parliamentary majority report in the Council for Order, Mandat and Immunity, with the object of completing worthlessness and completing the mandate of MP Olta Jakka”, the trial must be dismissed, as with its earlier decision, no. 1, the date 23.01.2023, the Constitutional Court ruled the abolition of these decisions.

2. For the second search, according to the application object, linked to the agreement of incompatibility in the exercise of MP Olta Xhacka's mandate, the judgment of the case should be fired, as the Parliament of the Republic of Albania will have to be previously expressed.

For these reasons, the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Albania, based on articles 131, points 1, letters 1 “ ”, Constitutional Court, and Law No. 8577, 1002.2000 “For organising and functioning the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Albania”, changed by majority of votes,

COMPLAIL: End of judgment.

We remember that for the opposition Jacka's mandate, it called for incompatibility with the constitution, after her husband received status as a strategic investor in the south.
