5 years in prison against war crimes indictees in 1998 at Bellopojo, Pec

The prosecution against accused Bacevic was announced Thursday by the chairman of the court, Judge Musa Kondzhel, reports “Justice Vow“.
According to the trial, the accused is found guilty of criminal acts “war crimes against the civilian population”, so the same one is sentenced to prison terms for five years.
In this sentence, the same will be counted as the time spent in detention.
The accused Bacevic is also obliged to pay the judiciary in the amount of 30 euros and 50 euros on behalf of the fund for crime victims.
With particular decision-making, the accuser continues the detention measure until the next decision is made.
Otherwise, according to the Special Prosecutor's Act, founded on November 9th, 2021, it is said that Svetomir Bacevic during the mid-July 1998 period, in the village of Bellopoja, the Pec municipality, during a conflict of non-international character developed between KLA members and the military forces of the Federation Republic of Yugoslavia and Serbia's police forces, deliberately violate the rules of International Law Against Civil Persons.
According to the indictment, in the period of reference to this indictment, Bacevic holds hostage to the injured Tidija Kadrija, so that on the day of the incident, armed goes to his neighbour's house of harms Rexhepi and Tija Kadrija, both of whom are about 60 years of age, in which case he first shoots automatic weapons in the direction of the roof and windows, then forcibly enters the house and damages the house glands with the pretext that he is controlling other people.
At the same time, Bacevic is said to be dragged into the courtyard by the injured and physically and psychologically abused, ordering them to sit and stand several times and at that moment, under the threat of the gun, kidnapped Tigaj and cast him out on the street, while the injured Rexhepi tells him he was sending his wife to the army headquarters and Serbian police.
Always according to the indictment, Bacevic warns the injured Rexhepi that he could take down Tidja only after he brings in members of the KLA and thus, under gun row, putting the gun barrel on his back, forcing Tigel to leave the house and walk along the village road, in time of night and war, in a non-resident and without enlightenment.
On the other hand, Bacevic, according to the indictment, sends the injured Tigel to the village center, where he stands at the store and in the presence of many other people supports him for the wall while with the gun in his hand he stands face to face with the intent of humiliation in the presence of many others in the store.
The indictment reportedly arrives at the injured neighbor, witness Momcilo Savic, who clashes with the defendant by punching him, by which chance he manages to save the injured and return him to her home, and the next day takes them to the two injured and, in secret, from the Serbian army and police, removes them from the village of Bellopoja, creating an opportunity to go to the town of Peja.
In this regard, Bacevic was charged with committing criminal work “the crime crime crime against the civilian population”, punished by Article 142 of the Criminal Law of the former Socialist Republic of Yugoslavia, as a law in force at the time of the conduct of criminal acts, currently punishable according to criminal acts “War crimes in grave violation of the joint article for the Geneva” conventions, by Article 146 of the Penal Code of the Republic of Kosovo. /Betimy for Justice
